Southern Rock lives, and these boys are living, breathing proof!



The band consists of four brothers, lifelong friends and family. Quite literally,a band of brothers.

Wayland is simply an amazing musician in his own right. Being drummer and lead vocalist at the same time for SBB in some of it's past forms. Wayland has now become the front man and lead vocalist of the band and for good reason. His energy and charisma is instantly transferred to the crowd the moment he speaks.

Kenny is absolutely the glue of this band being solely the rhythm guitarist. It's rare to find a guitar player as talented as Kenny Bailey that is content with playing rhythm. His chops are absolutely the sound of this band. Without it there would be no SBB.

Kevin "The Animal" Bailey being a younger brother learned percussion from his big brother Wayland. He's had a drumstick in his hand (not the chicken leg either, ok well maybe that too) since he could walk. His driving, yet funky, straight on style kicks this band into another realm. Kevin has all the right moves in all the right places to drive that Southern Rock sound home.

Justin being the youngest brother, bass player, and backing vocalist had a lot of fortune. His big brothers as well as his father JW "Butch" Bailey. JW Bailey is a world class bass guitar player. Justin's grooving bass style is right at home here. You can hear it a mile away, it's what makes you stomp your foot, it's what you feel in your chest when you stand at the stage, it's what holds the band together.

Jeff Roberts hails from Montgomery Alabama and is another life long friend of the Baileys. Jeff is one of those guitar players that leaves you standing there with your mouth open thinking WOW! He's country, he's rock, he's blues, he's heart and soul. Jeff brings lead, rhythm, as well as keys and vocals to the band. Jeff was part of the original SBB lineup and has recently rejoined the band as a full member.

Lastly the Bailey's cousin Justin McCorkle from Spartanburg South Carolina brings rhythm, lead, backing vocals and slide guitar to the mix. Justin is the son of Marshall Tucker Band founding member George McCorkle. He has that unmistakable chop and blues / rock infused lead sound that is pure Southern Rock.

The band's original material was written by the band members and Patricia Bailey, the Bailey brother's mother.

These guys are very thankful for their blessings from their Lord, and recognize without Him, their families, and friends none of this music would be possible. It was also a dream of two gentlemen for their sons to get together as adults and become a family again. The music is something that happened just naturally. Thank you to everyone who has made this dream of theirs a reality.
